Darrin J. Ward, born in Dublin, Ireland, is an entrepreneur whose primary area of focus is in building Internet businesses and driving organic Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and paid search marketing (SEM) performance.
In 2000, Darrin Founded the SEO-Chat company, an Internet forum specializing in organic search engine optimization (SEO) and paid-search marketing (SEM), which included the now-famous “Google Dance Tool”, a Google SEO resource developed by Darrin. Prior to the acquisition of SEO-Chat in 2003 by Developer Shed Inc., Darrin grew SEO-Chat to a size that ranked it among the top Internet destinations for search marketing executives and Internet professionals, with over 20,000 registered members. Today, SEO-Chat continues to be a dominant search engine marketing resource, with over 40,000 registered members.
Since 1999, Darrin has helped hundreds of companies of all sizes to establish and optimally monetize their Internet marketing and design efforts. Darrin has accumulated a thorough understanding of search engine marketing, technical operations, and user-website interaction (usability) all of which Darrin leverages in seeing the “big picture” and in formulating strategies. In addition, Darrin has established a huge network of trusted contacts, which proves critical in “making things happen”.
Darrin’s primary position today is in leading the efforts at his own Internet and search marketing firm, Darrin Ward, which consists of a small group of elite Internet professionals and entrepreneurs similar in inclination to Darrin himself. In addition to driving the efforts at his own company in Miami, Florida, Darrin serves as a board member at three separate mid-large corporations operating in the electronics, cigars and financial industries, respectively.
