I was recently roped into attended a rally that was held by this company in Miami, FL and I was absolutely amazed at how many people were lined up to "invest" money into this obvious scam, called ASD Cash Generator. The only thing that I could think of was that old saying "fools are their money are soon parted". It was astonishing that over 5,000 were crammed into one conference room listening to such gibberish, and actually believing it! People were talking about the founder/president of this company almost as if he were a biblical character, perhaps even Jesus Christo himself. I got up and walked out within 10 minutes.
Now, I'm no Wall St. broker, but I am relatively business savvy. As such, it comes as no surprise to me that ASD recently had all of their business accounts seized by the US Attorney, and were yesterday (Aug. 5th 2008) raided by the secret service. Read the Legal Document: USA vs ASD and Thomas A. Bowdoin.
Why am I talk about this... because two things have become very obvious to me: 1) That the old adage "If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is" hasn't been ingrained into enough people yet, and; 2) That we really need to educate more people about conducing business. As such, I thought that it might be a good idea to give this topic some "air time", as it were.
The facts are:
